about

CUT YOUR HAIR (EP)
released 23 December 2011

Me and my band we spent a whole year about experiencing with new feelings + instruments + places to record + new and old band mates, and now it's done. This EP is full of songs I never would have released on an album because they're too different and "simple" to put on a new record, so they're gonna sit here and wait for their turn. Believe me, some of these songs have more potential and magic then any of the album songs before.

So "No more time outs" and what does it mean? It means it's time to be who I really am, and not someone I just want to be or ought to be. Cover photo by Silvie Cristofoli.

Main Theme:
I remember playing this tune all the time on my piano at home and one day I showed it to a girl who said its beautiful, so I recorded it the other day, but I never would have guessed it's gonna be the intro song one day. I remember during recording it was a super hot summer night with the most amazing thunderstorm I ever saw. I felt untouchable and still very loveable that night. I was happy. As for the instrument overdubs, Manü did the bass, Friskfisk did some fireworks noize, Norbert did the rest. Recorded in Studio Tom Tom / Home 2011.

Cut Your Hair:
I wrote this song in june with the feeling "it's gonna be a summer hit" but later it turned into this wintery fog, that I felt I have to escape from. I never really knew if I love or hate this song, but it's here for you to decide. As for the instruments Bényi Gergő did some very inspirational piano on this one, Manü did the bass and the epic guitar solo at the end, Gergő Dorozsmai played the drums and Norbert played some guitars on them. Recorded in Studio Tom Tom / Studio Kuvik / Home 2011.

White Floor:
the first live session (including vocals!) in Studio Kuvik, produced by Bényi Gergő who plays the drums and some overdubbed piano. I wrote this song in the winter of 2006 and I redone it during 2011 summer. Recorded in Studio Kuvik 2011.

Tonite (piano):
the same session as "White Floor", and the same song as on MILK EP 2010. Piano by Bényi Gergő.

Giving and Keeping:
when I recorded the guitar I knew it's not for me but it was absolutely beautiful, so I phoned up Lilla and she did the vocals in 5 minutes. I always knew it's gonna be the last song on some of my future releases, and it IS finally. The 80s synth ending always reminds me of Bruce Springsteen's Streets of Philadelphia, don't ask me why. Synths by Friskfisk and Bodrogi András. Recorded at Home 2011.

BUNNY DEMO (LP)
released 30 September 2004

This was my first time in a real studio, actually the studio guys just finished building the whole place when we finished recording. It took nearly 3 months to build the rooms and floors and put in all the gear, and in the end we finished mixing the songs too. These were amazing times, with an amazing girlfriend, and such amazing friends. I kinda fucked those up by not telling to my bandmates that I want to release this stuff by myself (it started as a band project). Kovács Csabi played drums, and Vályi Balázs played all the bass. Pete Laci, Pete Gábor and Gémesi Márk helped me out ALOT with gears and knowledge and love. I miss you guys... and thank you!

There is a Smashing Pumpkins cover (1979) on the album too, and I uploaded it on youtube www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcPQTWi4pYE and I also uploaded my THE COVERS (2005) album on the tube with 6 amazing covers recorded on tape in my room (with the help of Pete Laci on synths), while I was enjoying my best summer ever with a girl who became more than a friend.
